I grew up outside of Detroit Michigan,  playing a variety of sports. I swam competitively from the age of three until I graduated college in 1995.  I played soccer and tennis, rode my bike, hiked and camped with my family. All those early years spent using my body in a variety of ways lead me to be fascinated by just how hard you can push it and still find the balance of wellness through self care of stretching, diet and massage.

I moved to Whitefish in the fall of 1996 and immediately knew I had found my home.  The quiet beauty of the mountains quickly moved my soul and I Started to explore all I could. That first winter I finally learned how to ski powder and I was hooked! Then spring came and deeper into the forest I went with my pup and friends on bike or by foot.

A few years later I met my husband and eventually we started a family.  I have three wonderful kids and we love to spend time together exploring on skis, bikes and by foot.

I have always known that my dharma (life's work) is to heal through the power of touch.  For years I wondered how I would in fact do this until one day on a walk with a friend the idea of massage came up. I applied and was accepted at Creststone Healing Art Center school of Massage and attended in the fall of 2018. I was immersed in a beautiful learning environment that opened my heart to the power of healing.  I learned the Five Element Theory of Acupressure, Shiatsu, Swedish Relaxation, Passive stretching, Hot Stone Massage, Aromatherapy, Prenatal and Reiki.

I truly believe in the miracle of our bodies ability to heal itself and allow healing to happen.  I find that each of my clients special needs can be met through the gentle listening that happens when they walk through my door and lay on my table. I might be called to use an acupressure treatment for their ankle injury in the middle of a full body relaxation massage or use an essential oil to help your process.  Whatever the clients needs or whatever the body is wanting is clearly communicated with and without words. I find immense joy in using the gift of my loving touch to guide their body into greater healing.

We all deserve the gift of loving touch so why not give yourself a gift  or a loved one.
