Alex is a specialized sports massage therapist who uses a unique combo of deep tissue work, assisted stretching, and traditional relaxation techniques. His experience as an ultramarathon runner gives him a helpful perspective when working with endurance athletes of any kind. Alex makes sure all of his clients feel comfortable, heard, and helped.
Originally from Spokane, Washington, Alex recently moved to Montana after spending most of his life near Salt Lake City, Utah. He loves great peaks and ski towns, and is happy to call Whitefish his home now. Alex graduated from the Broadview University School of Massage Therapy near SLC in 2021.
As an ultramarathon mountain runner, Alex’s career has included sub-24 hour 100 mile race finishes and thousands of miles training in alpine mountains. Bodywork has been instrumental in reaching Alex’s goals and his massage therapy work was born from a desire to share that opportunity with endurance athletes and anyone seeking to better their performance, daily well being, and recovery. Through his impactful bodywork, he has helped athletes compete and finish at the Ironman world championships in Kona, ultra-marathon runners complete a variety of distances, and weekend warriors alike.
Alex uses the following modalities in his practice:

Myofascial stretch therapy (assisted stretching)

When he is not training or working with clients, you’ll find Alex running up Whitefish mountain with his golden retriever, mountain biking, fly fishing, or spending quality time with his wife.
